‘Good Omens’ star teases possible romance with Aziraphale / Crowley in season 2

More than two years later, filming is underway on Good omens season 2, with details currently under lock and key. However, Sheen offered an intriguing tease who seems to suggest that Aziraphale and Crowley’s love for each other may deepen in this next batch of episodes. By chatting with Metro.co.uk, the dusk The actor was asked what fans can expect from the second season. Here is what he had to say:
“You can expect an angel and a demon,” Sheen promised. “And this angel will really look like he’s in love with this demon, I can guarantee that.”
In some ways, Sheen’s comments don’t tell us anything new. Watching and acting like he’s in love with Crowley is essentially Aziraphale’s MO, so it doesn’t necessarily confirm that there will be any development in this regard beyond the couple’s level of friendship in Season 1. And yet, the star seems very eager to stress the connection. between the angel and the devil by specifically mentioning the expression “in love”.
With Season 1 adapting the entirety of Neil Gaiman and Sir Terry Pratchett’s novel of the same name, Season 2 is based on the writers’ ideas for a lost sequel. All we know is that the Last Apocalypse will begin when an amnesic angel visits Aziraphale and Crowley, leading them into a new mystery. Jon Hamm has been confirmed to reprise his role of Gabriel alongside Tennant and Sheen.
Good omens season 2 is filming in Scotland. It is not yet clear when we can expect it to come out.
